Before I forget, Top 5.

I had a lot of time to think about nothing but games today, especially while building a grill (bad idea), so I decided to give you my top 5 favorite games right now so you can think about yours now.

1.)Dynasty Warriors (Xbox, PSP) Every single game delivers exactly what it says with a great soundtrack and brutal combo moves that are extremely addictive. Also takes forever to fully accomplish.

2.) Earthbound (Snes) This game defined how good games should be. Great concept, superior story, and hours of entertainment. Couldn't ask for anything else out of an R.P.G.

3.) WWF Royal Rumble (Snes) I set the world record on this game like a month ago, and still practice every now and again. Even though it may be short, it is still a great competition game, along with NBA Jam.

4.) The Warriors (Xbox) Rockstar showed me something else besides Grand Theft Auto, and the classic movie of gangs wrecking each other in the 1970's could not have been brought out better. There are so many ways to complete this open-ended game and awesome bonus features after completion make this a timeless game to play again and again.

5.) Blitz: The League (Xbox) I always played Blitz in the arcade when I was there, and the N64 versions did not see that much attention. Midway definitely brought this game to a new light, and it has some of the best bone breaking moves I have ever seen. 35$ right when it came out, it was an obvious buy and probably killed a month and a half of boredom and doing homework.

Sweet, my copy of Daxter came in for the PSP, I'll let you know how it goes, if I ever come back that is...

Hey, Hey, Hey, I own that game too, it's sitting....around here somewhere. For some reason, I could NOT stand that game for the longest time. I do love football/sports games, but when I was nine or ten and my mother brought that home for me as a "Present," I seriously wanted to smash my Snes it was so fustrating. With time though, a lot of patience, it made its way into the normal rotation. Don't get me wrong with not considering the old school games. I play NBA Jam TE everyday against friends and probably own another fifteen snes games, It's just that they are in their own catagory. Old school list? You got it. Make sure to check on that later today.

Yeah I totally agree with you, that thing should run as smooth as butter. It might just be the game disk having a scratch in a certain place, just how cd's skip when you hit one spot, the game jumps once it hits that spot. Try to put another game in there and try to play it just to see if it is indeed the software. That is a lot cheaper and easier to replace then the whole console.

That is a great list. I should have really extended it to the top ten because there are just so many high quality games out there. Ah, super mario kart, what a great game. I always had to be Koopa troopa, he was the man.

Bravo,

If you ever want to let that 360 go, let me know haha. I hear such glourious things about the Ps3...except the price, with rumors saying it is going to cost around 600$, but it is still probably worth it.

"I am itching to get my hands on a nes again for some dumb reason... "

I actually have an Nes i want to let go, get in touch if you think you are interested.

Yeah you can get controllers at Wal-Mart or something for the PC, I used one for my emulators like NEO-GEO and Snes (Let me know if you want any also.) They should only cost like 20 or 30 dollars I guess, and you can find them online also.
