MK if i had to pick. it was so ahead of its time. the uppercut into the pit, the fatalitys, "get over here"! but i still love tekken.
Yeah, I'd have to agree with you Bij. Tekken is an awesome title, but I cannot compute how many quarters I lost in the arcade playing MK. Besides, theres nothing better then playing Shaolin Monks at 2:30 in the morning.
Tekken. Hands down.
Hard to say. The two franchises are very different. Tekken strives for more of a realistic feel while MK does just the opposite, for the most part. Even when it went 3D, it still maintained that old arcade feel.
Overall, in terms of quality, I suppose Tekken is the better series. But in terms of initial impact, cult following, and personal preference, I'll have to give the nod to MK. Personally, I've always hated the Tekken series...but then again, I'm not a big fighting game fan. The only one that really sucked me in and made me a true fan is Soul Calibur.
