Buying And Selling.

Alright, after racking up a huge amount of bills (new cell phone, credit cards) I figured that I needed to make some cash. I made a lot selling things on E-bay, but that just wasn't enough. For some reason, I really want a PS2, so I began my search for one. I was given one by Mike ( one of my residents) that I could use until the end of the semester. Sounds like a good deal, right? What if I buy games for it though? So there is a gameless PS2 sitting in my room. Sad to say, my PSP died. Literally, it died. There must have been something faulty in it or something, because every time I charge it, the battery only lasts for a couple of hours instead of 12 or 14. Eh, that's ok, I don't really play it much because I have so many other things that have to be done. So in a deal, I decided to give up the PSP for another PS2 and $85. Sound like a good deal? Let me know. Life is hard for a gamer...

Of course it's a good deal. There are at least 100+ PS2 games worth playing, and if you're just getting around to the console now, you're waaaaaay behind. The PSP is a fine system, but it simply doesn't have anywhere near as many great titles (it just hasn't been out as long), and as a handheld, it obviously doesn't have the capability of the PS2.

I say start stocking up PS2 games right now and get going. Don't worry about anything else. Of course, you COULD try to land a PS3 (which plays PS2 games, of course), but that may be a pricey - and now that preorders are all gone, impossible - endeavor. ;)
