The Grandaddy Of all Sim Games.
Yes, it finally came in today. Sim Earth, released back in 1992 for the SNES is now in my possession for the fee of 8 dollars. Yee-haw. I came across it on E-Bay and knew that I had to play it again. I remember back in the day (like 1996) when I actually rented the game and played it. You create an entire world from nothing and watch evolution and the world flourish. Well, a lot of people did that; I just built it up and then destroyed them with plagues and volcano eruptions. This game did teach me one thing...that talking globes are always right and patience. I left the SNES on for about four hours, just letting the world go. When I returned, I found battling nations and an N-Bomb being set off. Lovely, just like the real world. Seriously though, it takes SOOOO LONGGG to get anything done in that game, but it is well worth it. Go download the rom and see for yourself, later.
