Load Of Crap.

This is absolute garbage, aka censorship. Since a few countries and large companies already are going to ban the sales of Manhunt 2, supposedly due out in July, it is pretty much saying "hey, change it to mature and CENSOR your game." I'm sorry that people are morons and have their kids kill after playing violent video games, maybe it is because of the bad parent that shouldn't have been allowed to breed in the first place. So yeah, I doubt that Manhunt is going to sell, if at all, anywhere. Another thing. I heard on the radio that "video game addiction" is as addictive as alcohol and drugs now. I know...stupid. I feel like blowing up America at this point because of all these hippy laws and playing the blame game. Since I'll be going back to school tomorrow, I won't be updating for a few more days. later.

Call of Duty 3...Finally.

After writing a review of this game a while ago, I decided to get it when I found a copy on Ebay for a price I could not refuse. I have the original copy and the 2nd installment on PC, so I decided to see how capable the 360 was at creating a WW2 shooter. For the most part, the game lived up to what I expected it to be, a fast-paced, fluid game that I could really get into. I really enjoy the graphics when I FINALLY get to drive vehicles instead of usually being in the shooter's position like the previous versions. There were some parts of the game that I thought could be improved though. Some of the squad actually blocks you in from fighting because of how they are positioned. A few times it has happened to me on stairs and I could not advance any further and had to kill someone of my own team to move. Too bad that brings me back to the previous checkpoint. Other then that and a few awkward motions by the other teammates in the squad, this is one solid game. Also, since it has been out for a while, the price has dropped by quite a bit (I picked up my copy for 20 dollars). If you are looking for a shooter on the 360, I highly recommend this game. Later.

Go To Hell, Cold.

Yeah I am still sick, and it is really becoming a pain in the ass. Always wiping my nose on numerous things and people is apparently not appreciated. Anyways, I'm up at Cape Cod this week hanging out with friends and playing Tekken 4, which I picked up for around 10 bucks. My buddy picked up MLB the Show '06, which isn't bad, but I still enjoy beating the crap out of each other in Slugfest. I'd be typing a whole lot more, but this computer isn't mine and I really don't feel like infecting it with my germs anymore then I have to. That's all for now, later.

Happy 21st.

Yesterday was indeed my 21st birthday, and I was not even close to being in the right state of mind to type something here, so I'm happy that I didn't. Besides that, I am still very sick with some kind of flu or virus, so even staring at this screen is making me nauseous. Anyways, After reading the last 2 month's issues of Game Informer, I have seen that there are many great looking games coming out (the Darkness, Call of Duty 4, Mass Effect) So look for some info on those coming up as soon as my fever breaks. Later.

Orange Box.

Later this year, another Half Life game is going to be released, and by the looks of it, it might even be better then Half Life 2 (if that is even possible. Here is a few lines from a review in Gamespot. Enjoy.

"An early scene in the episode has you (playing as Gordon) waking up in the middle of a train wreck, trapped inside one of the cars. Thankfully, your companion and ally Alyx Vance is outside and is able to free you with use of the trusty gravity gun, which is able to manipulate and throw around large, physical objects. As soon as you emerge from the wreckage, you realize that you're no longer in City 17, the setting of Half-Life 2 and Episode One. Instead, you're surrounded by wilderness and forest--specifically, the White Forest. With City 17 and its Citadel destroyed, a giant dimensional portal has begun to form over the ruins of the city. That portal links to the Combine's alien home, and if it opens, the Combine will rush reinforcements to Earth, dooming humanity. Thankfully, one of the things that Alyx stole from the Citadel in Episode One are important Combine portal codes--but to be useful they must be delivered to the scientists, led by Dr. Eli Vance and the new character, Dr. Magnusson, in their secret lab. And to do that, you've got to get through the White Forest with Combine forces in pursuit. "

Saw The Video Game

Personally, I would like to see how the movie into video game "saw" should be. Since the movies were so interesting and different from what the norm of horror movies is today, I bet that it will be a game for every one's collection.

Variety reports today that Brash Entertainment, the private equity-backed game publisher co-founded by Thomas Tull, the executive producer of the movie "300," has raised $400 million and will focus exclusively on games developed from movie, TV and music licenses. Company has projects in the works based on movies from five studios and has multigame deals with several of them. It's already working on a dozen movie-based titles, including one based on Lionsgate's "Saw" franchise and another, sources confirmed, based on "300." First games will come out this holiday season. While Brash is remaining tight-lipped about its initial release slate, one title will almost certainly be tied to "Saw 3."

Catch Up.

I haven't been around much in the past few days; mostly because I'm out catching up with friends and going out to the beach house in Cape Cod to work on my tan. Anyways, I bought Dead Rising a little while ago, and to tell you the truth, the game has been pissing me off nonstop. No points around to save, getting killed every 20 seconds, and my 360 not being able to read disks when it is upright have been the main points of my frustration. That's why I have come to love my PS2, I can play a game and keep the thing on for a while, unlike my 360 which I fear will catch on fire if I play it for more then 2 hours at a time. So pissed right now. Later.
