Really quick just to let you guys know, Game Stop is offering a deal. From now till October 15th, they will put 80$ towards an Xbox 360 when you trade in your Xbox. I consider it a pretty good offer, since no one will really buy it for much more then that unless you have 30 games with it like I do or put it on Ebay. Besides that, I bought a sidekick II today for 10 bucks. Now that is a sweet deal. I consider it to be pretty much a PSP with a better keyboard and AOL but with less attractive games like Ms. Pac-Man, but hey, now I have them both. Later.

News On The PS3
I was looking around the internet, just as I always do when I'm bored, and came across some stuff about the PS3 that I thought you would like to know about if you haven't already. Well, it looks like you guys over here in the U.S. are going to get your hands on the PS3 on November 17th, and of course, they are suspecting that there are going to be millions in line who will pay anything for this console. The pricetag is actually cheaper than I thought it would be, which is weird. The 20GB version will retail for $499 and the 60GB version will retail for $599, just like the 360 did. I don't mean those actual prices, but Microsoft did offer two different price ranges just like the PS3 is going to do. This thing is going to be freakin' heavy, weighing in at about 11 pounds of PS3 goodness. Jeez, the huge-ass Xbox is only around 8. Now, the controller is going to be motion sensitive, just like the Nintendo Wii, and be wireless, which seems to be with every next-gen console. "The PlayStation 3 also comes with support for many of the older disc formats, including CR-ROM, CDR+W, DVD, DVD-ROM, DVD-R, and DVD+R. The system will also be backward compatible with PlayStation and PlayStation 2 games. " THAT IS WHAT I WANTED TO HEAR. See, Sony isn't dumb when it comes to games, it finds out what people wants and adds that to the system with nothing they don't need. I don't know about you, but I kinda just want to say screw the Wii and pick up this machine. It may be a little pricey, but Sony does deliver what the masses crave. So watch out for the riots on November 17th when this thing releases, and get ready to be blown away once more with a new console.
P.S. In less then a month, I'm buying a PS2....I finally broke down and when my check comes in, I'll really see how a PS2 is. Later.

Timesplitters: Future Perfect Loves To Kill Monkeys
I remember playing the first of this series, of course named Timesplitters. I HATED it to say the least. After playing the second installment for a while on the PS2, I fell in love with this title. If you haven't played one of these games, you are missing out big time. While going to the mall to kill some time on a Sunday, I found the 3rd installment. The pricetag....$9.99. Even if the game was garbage (which it isn't), it was only a little bit of cash. Since then, I've been unable to put my controller down. I'm still going to class and such, but I try to squeeze in a few challenges or a couple levels between classes. This game is a must have. First, the story line is just amazing. Bots range from easy to un-killable, and the characters are funny and perfectly done. I love the challenges and how crazy and unique they are (like killing waves of zombie monkeys with a shotgun) With over 150 characters to unlock, online capabilities, and a million things to do in the game, even for 50 bucks, its something to quickly play to kill some time, and definitely great for those boring weekends or when you need a break from homework.

I Splurged Kinda.
Yeah, I have credit card payments due...but I wanted some games. I picked up Timesplitters: Future Perfect for 9 dollars brand new and EA Rugby '05 for 20 bucks never used. To say the least, I have no excuse to be bored for at least a few days. I'll tell you how they are in the coming days. Later.

I Never Thought It Would Come To This.
"A 25-year-old North Philadelphia man has been charged with killing his young daughter.
The mother said 17-month-old Alayiah was violently punched by Tyrone Spellman over a video game." My jaw is on the ground, I still cannot believe that someone actually killed a child over an accident. The child apparently pulled out the cords and the actual console fell, breaking the video game. Tyrone Spellman, the father of the child, was responsible for the payment of the game, and in turn SLUGGED the CHILD in the FACE TWO TIMES. I'm sure that a $50 game is not worth killing your child over in any circumstance. Mistakes happen, and I pray that this man gets exactly what is coming to him, the chair or life in prison. I hope that someone tells the prisoners, so they can slug him in the face. I have no mercy for these sort of people, and it is so disgusting what this world has come to. I'm sure you all agree with me, if you don't, you're not human. I posted of a picture of this guy so everyone can see the man before he probably gets killed in prison.

Freaky Business Is At Hand.
While looking for something interesting to write about, my eye caught a freaky picture of children's faces with the words "Ashes, ashes, we all fall down." It kind of sent a chill down my spine, because I don't like children or that song all too much, and putting them together is just a little bit freaky. So the name of the game is Rule Of Rose, releasing for the PS2. I got a little bit of info for this game, but not too much. Game Spot said this about the background of Rule Of Rose.
"March, 1930. A young girl named Jennifer, whose parents were killed in a tragic airship accident, is taken to the Rose Garden Orphanage, located in a remote portion of the English countryside. What Jennifer discovers is a dilapidated building and a ragtag mob of children who call themselves the "Aristocracy of the Red Crayon." The demented residents of Rose Garden kidnap Jennifer and take her into the dark heart of an impossibly large zeppelin, on a meandering course for a distant land. Now, with the help of a canine companion named Brown, Jennifer has to find valuable gifts for the Aristocracy, or suffer a fatal punishment for her insolence..." Sounds to be something worth looking at for you creepy game lovers. Some of the features include:
Befriending a faithful dog and work together to locate items
Intense melee combat against monsters
Musical score by Yutaka Minobe (Panzer Dragoon Saga, Skies of Arcadia)
Multiple endings and hidden extras (always a plus)
Releasing in October, it would be wise to save some cash to buy this and Bully...that should kill some time in between classes.

Call Of Duty 3...Come Get Some.
So I found out when my new issue of Game Informer came out that I need a Xbox 360 right about now. Call of Duty was confirmed for a release in the fall, and since there has been so much greatness from this series, I might just have to put a hit on my credit card to experience WWII gunfire once more. "Bigger, better, more intense," were the only words to describe the action many will experience soon enough. More then adequate effort is going into the multiplayer side of the game for those online gamers, and in addition to the single player campaigns. CoD3 is also adding new soldier classes, such as medic and sniper to name one of the many new innovations. There will be 1 to 4 player action for the Ps3 and 360, 1-player action for the Wii, PS2 and Xbox, for online features will be 24 player action for the 360 live and PS3, and 16 player action for the Wii, Ps2 and Xbox. So do what I said, drop some cash and put a smile on that face just in time for the new school year to come around. Face it, who needs an education anyways?
